I learned this recipe in my country Syria when I was 16 years old. I like to eat this soup in winter to keep warm and feel cozy. I love this soup because it was the first recipe my mother taught me. I have been in Canada for one year now and my mother is still in Syria. I find this soup very unique tasting and I hope you enjoy eating it during a Canadian winter! It is a great appetizer! It is also great to have before bed because you will feel full but light at the same time.
